I really REALLY like the game, I have 2 suggestions for the next update:
1. Maybe add the IBU Cup places like Sjusjøen, Obertilliach, Arber and other places to the game too
2. I don't know if you will do it already, but I'll still suggest it: maybe add the new biathletes like Filip Fjeld Andersen, Lou Jeanmonnot, Sverre Dahlen Aspenes, Ragnhild Femsteinevik, Vanessa Voigt and others to the game too.
After all, it's still a great game and I play it almost every day!
I never tried NGL Biathlon natively because I have no Windows computer, but I get more than 60 FPS with Wine.
What I did was just run the Windows executable file with Wine, close the game since fonts were invisible, run winetricks mscorefonts in the same Wine wineprefix (check the internet if you are unfamiliar with wineprefix, basically it’s the folder of the Wine Windows folder I used to run the game), and then relaunch the game.
The game is very good but I hope that some details will be improved at the next updates. I don't know why, but I can't increase my shooting speed after a season (at all other skills it is possible to increase it with max. 4 points). It would be also helbful, that it would be possible, to switch on/off the names of the athlets during the race (you can't see the number on the back of the athlet). Maybe it would be also very nice that you can see the shooting-coaches with the binoculars at the shooting range ;-) and the force of the wind will influence the shooting and is shown in the display (maybe also graphically supported by some little flags at the shooting range) :-). These are some trivial things that would be nice, but the game is very great and you have done great work - Thank you very much!!! :-)

I am using Crossover and I am not able to see menu options. I suppose this is because of missing fonts. Could you please tell me what font are you using here so I can add them into crossover? Many thanks
I had the same issue and installed mscorefonts with winetricks, which solved the issue. I’m still missing the heart icon while in game, but that’s a minor issue in my opinion (even though I recently heard it can blink and show extra information that one cannot infer from just the beatrate value).
It’s wonderful that the game has all current players but also those from previous seasons, and legends! I just miss a way to select preset rosters by season/year, instead of manually picking each athlete individually. Would be great to add an extra button with past seasons and select athletes accordingly, while keeping the possibility to manually edit too of course.
I wanted to thank the developer(s) for chosing this business plan. I first downloaded the game for free just to try it, and after donated afterwards. Also quite happy that the game works with Wine, unfortunately it seems the mouse becomes buggy after you’ve alt-tabbed once, and I’m not good at shooting with just the keyboard.
This game is pretty good. The skiing felt awkward at first and there is no falls, but in the end NGL Biathlon greatly translates the stress that you feel on a tight race when you enter the shooting range. I just wish the AI would shoot slower though, this doesn’t look real there. The penalty loops are short, probably to compensate for tracks that are also faster than in real life.
The game works perfectly on Linux with Wine 64-bits.
I quite like that game and won my first mass start. I liked the game so much that I just binged four full world cups in a row.
This game is very good, but some things can be changed and added.Here are some of them:
- Wind would have made the game more fun and realistic.
- In the single mixed relay - one biathlete makes 4 shots and 4 laps, and the other makes 4 shots and 5 laps. Not so in the game.
- It will be more interesting if the tracks are longer and the penalty laps too.
- It will be more realistic to be able to make adjustments while shooting.
- It will be very interesting if we can see how biathletes are rewarded.
- It should have 30 corridors on the shooting range.
- It will be more interesting to have more biathletes for the World Cup
I agree with these. Although I think the laps don't have to be much longer, I rather do a couple of races than a really long one. A little longer laps would make it possible to have more athletes in pursuit events.
I have another suggestion:
- World cup should give points to top skiers. In real world cup there the top 40 gets points. And then possible to see World Cup standing in points instead of medals.
mon fils a modifié la rotation de l'écran en jouant (Alt Gr + flèche droite) que j'ai réussi à remettre. Par contre depuis cette manipulation, la résolution de l'écran est passé en 4:3 au lieu du 16:9 et seulement pour le jeu NGL ... cela n'a rien modifié sur Windows ou d'autres logiciels.

Bon même en désinstallant puis une nouvelle installation ... Rien n'y fait ! J'ai trouvé les raccourcis de la carte graphique et en appuyant un peu au hasard la configuration est revenue. Je ne saurais même pas refaire la manipulation.

First I'd like to say that the game is great, and that I regularly give some money to the creators, because they deserve it.
However, I've had the same bug several times now: I start a career, and after a while (around the first rounds of the first season), it doesn't move forward (I get stuck on a sprint for example). When I pass the race, I automatically find myself last in the general standings, despite the previous races. I have tried everything to remedy this: new careers with fewer biathletes, deletion of all the old files...Nothing works. Can someone help me because I have an unplayable game, although it is really great, and the new tracks are great. Thanks in advance.
I made a table. On top, it's when it snow, On bottom it's when not. On the middle, it's the default skis. When range is short (Rossengel Xenon 3 for exemple has a range of 5 degrees), the efficiency is high (5%). Sometimes it's a bet. My advice is to get in the first range (when you choose your ski, if you a high ranked you have a box woth 1st, 2nd and 3rd range). The temperature doesn't have to change too much, and you are sure to have at least the first part of you race with efficient skis.
Hello, I've played the game for months now and nothing happened (nearly any bugs). But for one week now it often happened that when pressing the "downhill pose" (S or arrow down) there was a significant delay until the athlete reacted - or even worse: nothing happened when pressing the "S".
I've already deleted and re-installed the game or tried an older version. The problem stays the same.
Does anybody (or the developer) now how to fix it??
Do you have any controller connected ? like a xbox /ps controller, or a racing wheel. I have a racing wheel always connected (never know when I want to race XD) and it made me the opposite (always pressing down button). Take care especially to the pedals if you have. If any input is made, it's over.
That's not the only game with this bug, many games has it. I suppose that a problem with the engine.
Excellent game !!! Like others players, I find a lack of "Real time" play, but considering the quality of the game, it's just a minor lack :P
Concerning bugs, just to know, I play with a driving wheel always pluged to my PC, and, like other games, this can trigger input bugs, like skier always turning left, or the downhill input always turn on. Most of time, down input is turned on, which don't really harmful, just when I stop using up key, my skier take a downhill pose, so always up till a downhill. And second, thing is when I start to shoot, the riffle get down, but on the instant when I use my mouse, the down button become inactive for this part.
And concerning practical use of the menus, You could perhaps allow double click to select some things (saves particularly).
It take some place, but really, it's just detai. The game is really excellent !
Small update concerning broadcast mode : Split are quite difficult to manage. Sometime, on shooting 2, it wait for after shooting 3, and the same for some split on track. Is it possible to have the possibility to see each split? (For example 3 buttons (one for each track chronometer) which change of lap by pressing it (by pressing sooting splits, it gives me the shooting of the first/mine or whatever, and if I press again, it give me the next lap)
Bonjour, vous n'avez pas besoin d'écraser la précédente version. Vous téléchargez la nouvelle version. Vous créez par exemple 2 dossiers : NGL Biathlon Beta 1 / NGL Biathlon Beta 2 (ce que j'ai fait depuis Alpha 5 environ). Ainsi vous pourrez continuer votre carrière commencé en Beta 1.
Dans la prochaine mise à jour serait-il possible d'ajouter la possibilité d'ajouter des IA lors d'une course Online. Je joue avec un ami et nous aimerions réaliser une carrière multijoueur et l'ajout d'IA ou bien d'un mode "carrière multijoueur" rendrait le jeu encore meilleur.
Bravo pour tout le travail en tout cas et merci pour ce fabuleux jeu de biathlon.

Lors des championnats du monde, où des J.O. , les équipes changent leurs combinaisons
Et quand j'ai fait des courses en carrière où même en "course rapide", j'ai remarqué (j'avais l'Italie et au lieu de l'option 3, je prenais la 4 pour faire comme en réel) que mes coéquipiers n'avaient pas la même combinaison que celle que j'avais sélectionné, et cela uniquement dans les relais (pour les courses individuelles, on avait bien tous la même combi).
Ca m'a d'ailleurs plusieurs fois fait croire que je jouais le podium alors qu'en réalité c'était une autre équipe.
C'est pour tout le monde pareil ou je suis le seul à avoir ce "problème"

I recently got a new computer, and I have the old hard drive attached via USB which makes it so I have all of my things from my old computer avaliable, but whenever I try to go in to the game all of my careers are gone, every career from every update of the game I've had. I wonder if all of my careers are gone forever, or if I could somehow get them back?
Cool game, well that you added more riders to the Sprint and individual run, whether there will be a game about cross-country skiing because the Russians are also good at running and useful a game about cross-country skiing

I added an extra athlete to my save file. Then all the tournaments in that savefile dissapeared.

Il faudra surement réinstaller le jeu. Il a pas d'accès au paramétrage de la résolution d'écran dans le jeu donc je vois que ça.

Here are some things that i would like to see in future updates:
- Penalty round length are fine, but the time penalty is waaay to long. There is no way to recapture 30 seconds within a race.
- Pressing the spacebar to get the superboost is very infrequent, sometimes i just dont get it to work.
- I know this might be difficult, but wind affecting shots.
- And also getting an advantage by coming from behind. Gaining speed since you arent facing the wind, and beeing sheltered by the guy infront.
- It also seems that on hard difficulty, the AI is just quicker than you uphill no matter what.
But all in all it has been a great experience!!

C'est normal car les J.O. sont présents dans la 2ème saison et après toutes les 4 saisons je crois.
C'est pour ça que tu ne les as pas dans ta 1ère saison.
