Is it possible to give the option to arrange the start list in the quick start mode, so you can choose which row the athletes start in, now it's just random.

As a player wishing to get as close as possible to the realism of this sport, would it be possible to offer a "realism" setting (activated or not in career mode). Racing times in the game as well as in real life.

An example: men's 10 km sprint in Annecy in 23 minutes.

Let the race times be as close as possible to the real World Cup times.

Another thing : shorter races for women like in real life.

I want to say thank you again for this amazing game. I have a just a few new ideas for it.

1. I totally agree with @Eddebs first point. I agree that it doesn't make sense to have the same few racers always post the fastest times. IRL racers might not be in best health, or just might not have the best day on the skis. I know different skis travel faster at certain weather, but for me this is not quite enough variability.

2. Tournaments: I would love to see multi-season tournaments (basically careers but you can broadcast the races). At the end of the tournament you could choose to do another season, where you can choose new tracks and new races, new athletes to send to the World Cup, create new athletes, and change athlete's stats.

Tournaments Part 2: Add the World Championships to the "World Cup in Tournaments."

Tournaments Part 3: Be able to have more than one relay in a stage. (IRL Mixed relays and Single Mixed relays are on the same day.)

3. In careers, athletes should move leagues every time they switch venues based on how well they did in the last stage.

4. There should be more variability of countries in the World Cup. Teams like Norway, Germany and France take up more slots in the World Cup then they should. IRL it's more balanced. Each team has a certain amount of start slots.

5. Wind on the shooting range that moves your rifle a little. This would make shooting, a little harder and more realistic.

I realize that some suggestions are moving towards more controlling of the game, and I personally would like to have that option as well as career mode for some variability of gameplay. If this is not of interest, then let me know. I totally understand. :)

Hello! I really appreciate your work in creating this game and developing it on to even better resemble the sport we all love. I have some suggestions for developing the game forward that I think would enhance the gaming experience even more. 

1. More realistic skiing performances: In my opinion there needs to be more variation on skiing performances for each athlete in both single races and careers. If you look at the real life biathlon results, there is often different biathletes finishing on top of the ski times leaderboard. One way to achieve this could be to impelement "race day condition" parameter for every race. This value could for example be between -5 and +5 and affect only the athletes skiing stats. There could also be an option in the settings to choose the interval for possible race day condition.

2. Shooting speed: At the moment the shooting speed stat has no effect for non AI biathletes. Could be fixed so that faster the shooting speed, faster the athlete gets ready for shooting? Maybe for example for 100 rated shooting speed, time between stopping the skiing before shooting and being ready for the shooting could be on average 1.5 seconds and for 70 shooting speed on average 4 seconds? I think this change would make the shooting speed stat more relevant especially in career mode. I would also like to see prone and standing shooting speed stat divided to more realistically picture each athletes skillset. As for skiing, there could also be more variance in AI shooting speed of each athlete between each shooting.

3. Rework of the mass start format: At the moment athlets starting near the front of the pack have an advantage of several seconds before the race has even begun. Could it be possible to make the biathletes start closer to each other to minimise the timegap between front and the back of the pack?

I understand that it's a long process to make these kind of changes and you probably have several new ideas yourself that you want to develop further. Neverthless, I would love to see some of these ideas implemented to the game.

I don't think there is a camera on the 32nd athlete in any race because when I try to follow them, nothing happens. Is this a bug or just something that was missed?

Hello, I would like to praise you in advance for what a great game you have come up with, I just thought of a few modifications

1. A larger circuit

 It usually takes me a minute or a little more to go around the circuit, in reality it's five minutes, plus it would be good to give the tracks more reality to be as realistic as possible.

2. Larger penalty wheels

 In reality, it slows down the athlete for 20-25 seconds, in the game only 5-7 seconds, I understand of course that it is adapted to the length of the circuit.

3. 30 pads

 There are 21 mats in the game, and that bothers us quite a bit in relays, because if I can put 25 relays, 4 random teams won't let us into the game.

If it were possible, it would be great.

4. LAP, DSQ

 Also, if the first driver overtakes someone, he can continue and not have a LAP like in reality, if you could modify it, it would be great. Or DSQ for those who broke something or took advantage of bugs in the game.

5. More athletes

 Lately there are a lot of promising athletes from weaker countries such as (Men: Mikyska, Todev, Makarov, Coltea, Shamaev, Connelly, Sklenarik, Kireyev, Mackels, Beauvais, Siimer, Women: Hristova, Dimitrova, Tolmacheva, Kapustova, Z. Remenova, M. Remenova, Cloetens, Kuelm) who you could add to the game in the future

6. Weather

 Most of the time, the fog doesn't have that much effect on the shooting, which would be great if it could be changed, that in the Career it would be given how strong the fog will be, or how strong the wind will be, and this could affect the race a lot.

Otherwise, thanks for bringing us constant updates, you're doing a great job, I just had six things that would make the game better.

One thing more thing,

The stats of all the athletes after the 2023-24 season was over were changed to match the performance of the athlete from that season, but then we couldn't access the 2022-23 stats. A feature where you could choose which year you want the athlete's stats to match would be cool. This would mean for careers that you could have a career that is more similar to real life than just having the athletes upgrade/downgrade stats normally, and at the end of a season, you could choose if you want to have the athlete's real stats from a particular season, or change the stats from training regularly.

First, I want to say I absolutely love this game, and I know it takes time to make updates. I appreciate everything you did to make this game. I just have a few things I'd love to see in the future!

1. Something I find a bit annoying is that I have to delete a created athlete to change their face, and if I do that it messes up the career. It would be nice to be able to change an athletes face that you've made after it's created.

2. Can you make the parameter "shooting speed" more spaced out. IRL, athletes can gain a lot of time by shooting fast, and in the game, you can only gain about 1 or 2 seconds max. This would definitely make shooting faster more important.

3. Can you also add bot photo finishes? Maybe you could click on a name in the standings and you'd be able to see their photo finish.

4. In real life there are a lot of relay teams even in the men's and women's relay. In the game, I sometimes only have like 5 or 6 teams; in the next update, could you add a whole bunch of athletes from minor countries and also more athletes for lower cups such as Tamara Steiner, Lea Rothschopf, Maya Cloetens, Valentina Dimitrova, Lora Hristova, Maria Zdravkova, Benita Peiffer, Emily Dickson, Susan Kuelm, Noora K. Keranen, Sonja Leinamo, Paula Botet, Johanna Puff, Julia Tannheimer, Hannah Auchentaller, Beatrice Trabucchi, Karoline Erdal, Natalia Sidorowicz, Anastasia Tolmacheva, Ella Halvarsson, Emma Kapustova, Maria and Zuzanna Remenova, Lea Meier, Khrystina Dymtrenko, and Kelsey Dickinson for the women.

And for the men: Blagoy Todev, Tomas Mikyska, Kristo Siimer, Danilo Riethmueller, Patrick Braunhofer, Vladislav Kireyev, Renars Birkentals, Maksim Makarov, Johan O. Botn, Konrad Badacz, Dmitrii Shamaev, George Coltea and Viktor Brandt.

5. I would like to be able to look back on the ending scores for a previous career season, (transfer the data from the "Total Score" and "Results" section of the season to the season summary), and also to add prone and standing accuracy separately in the summary.

6. New tracks for IBU competitions such as Arber, Idre Fjaell, Sjusjoen, Ridnaun, Brezno, and Jakuszyce would be appreciated.

7. I would also like something along the lines of slip-stream. For example, if you're directly behind an athlete, you lose a lot less energy.

8. I loved the animations you did for the start of the races for beta 6.1. Another thing to possibly add is for the beginning of the races, you could have the cameraman go to the top starters and have the athletes wave. I would also like to see an extension of the podium cutscene if it's possible; maybe have an announcer calling up each athlete. Discipline globe ceremonies as well as relay podiums would be appreciated. Also, medals for the top three instead of flowers in the World Championship and Olympics.

9. I think this would add a lot but is only a small innovation is an athlete's height It could affect the look of the athlete and possibly how the targets appear when they shoot! Another small innovation that could add to the game is left-handed athletes.

10. When biathletes are competing in a venue from the country they represent, the skiing parameters should all be pumped up a little and the rifle should fluctuate slightly more during shooting (showing nerves in front of home crowd.) I also think the fans should cheer for their athletes too, instead of just for me.

11. When a biathlete tucks on the downhill, you could add the little foot movements they do so it looks more natural when the athlete changes direction.

2. Relays

Sometimes it happens to me that I can set up 24 relays like at the World Championships, but unfortunately three random countries throw it out for me, so in the future 30 states so that we can put together more relays, plus when the circuit is short, it happens that Norway finishes maybe five teams around, it would be good to have a circuit at least somewhat realistic, because the leading teams will slowly slow them down, it would also be good to have DNS or LAP when they pass someone, or DSQ when someone uses mistakes in the game to their advantage.

3. New Tracks

I would also definitely appreciate new routes like (Ridnau, Idre, Sjusnoen, Brezno, Arber, Obertiliach for IBU competitions)

4. More Starters

I would appreciate it if there were more competitors on a larger circuit, maybe 60 or more, and to do it like a real start list, so that you would turn the pages of the start list and or at the finish line you would see 10 members of the table up to maybe 60 as it is in TV that you would scroll through the start statistics and other parameters.

5. Weather

Certainly, if it could be as strong as the fog could be, for example 25% or 100%, where even the robots would make a lot of mistakes, because in the fog almost everyone takes it easy, but the wind could also be controlled, for example the wind strength could be set ( In a career it would obviously be a given)

6. Adding more cameras

For example, cameras for starters more than 10, I don't know about you, but I don't know how to put a camera on the starter with number eleven, if anyone knows, please write.

7. Helpers and fans or more decorations

Coaches, I miss the shooter, or more fans along the lines from the flags, or that the fans would scream when the local French in Annecy hits a target, not only when I shoot.

It's been a year since I last tried your game, and I have to say that I'm impressed and happy to see that it has improved quite a bit, the atmosphere of the competitions feels much more authentic, the crowd sound effects are better, and also the sounds in the shooting range.

I have always preferred career modes/management games over anything else. So with this, I have to say that the career mode would need some changes for it to be fun to play. I'm still not a fan of 42 athletes per league with 4 divisions, if you could change this to 50 athletes with 30 in mass start, and maybe 35 in pursuit then I think already having IBU WC 50 athletes + IBU B 50 athletes, and Ibu Juniors 50 athletes - 3 divisions with 150 athletes in total would be quite good, without this Europe Cup. I also use fill all the spots so I have full divisions for both men and women. It would be nice if after the season ends there's more information about who retired and who came in as new from youth ranks. Currently it shows the retired athletes and their age but nothing else. I suggest something like this ~ Retired athletes : Benedikt Doll, age 33, division IBU WC, 6th position, Mona Brorsson, age 33, division IBU B, 7th position and then a list of new athletes who were promoted. And perhaps also like history page, where I could see the results of previous seasons too.

And also, currently we can edit athletes before you start a career, but can you change so we could make changes also during the season? For example, I would like to be able to edit the names and nations of new athletes(not skills) , just so I could make national teams more balanced. I had 2 new Estonians and 2 new Finns come in after season 1, with both having the same name! :D I added an image too, 2 new Estonians named Sergei Kukk and 2 Finns named Suoma Pekka which is weird :) Having the ability to change names and nations would at least let doubles not happen :)

Hi, Please can you make the penalty laps bigger? Irl it takes like 30seconds, but in the game it takes 5 seconds. make it at least 15s, becouse i know the track is smaller then irl. Thanks so much, i would really love to see this in the new update.

Et je voulais également report une mauvaise nationalité : dans le jeux, Campbell Wright est désigné comme Néozélandais mais il a changé de nationalité il est Américain maintenant ! Sinon merci à vous pour le jeu il est masterclass c'est incroyable d'y jouer j'en suis à ma 3 eme carrière avec près de 7 saisons finis en solo !! Merci pour le jeu et bonne continuation !!

Salut, est-il possible pour les prochaines mises à jour de modifier le nombre de participants aux épreuves, ce qui serait plus proche de la réalité

- 60 concurrents pour les sprints, individuels [100 en réalité]

- 40 concurrents pour les poursuites [60 dans la réalité]

- 30 concurrents pour les mass starts [30 en réalité].

Comme ça il y aura plus de concurrence dans les épreuves et plus de points attribués. 

Sinon tu fait du très bon travail a chaque fois.

I would like to report a bug:

Used Version: NGL Biathlon Beta-6.1.

I do also sim racing and I have a lot of USB controllers (steering wheel, pedals, Gear stick, etc).

I think, these controllers mess up with the NGL Biathlon controls.

My Player is constantly turning in circles and the game becomes unplayable.

When I unplug all of my sim racing USB devices, the controls are back to normal.

This game is really fun but it feels a little lacking at times, I agree with the points Adam Rys but to me it's not a deal breaker, it would be nice if there were some kind of wind physics and you can correct to optic depending on the wind. And have some sort of pre shooting before a race to configure the optic. Might be hard to implement something like that now, but hopefully in the future!
